Youth Circus 501 (Aerial Skills)

Requirements: Permission of studio and instructor recommendation required to enroll. Must have taken at least 2 previous sessions of Youth Circus 401 and have successfully completed the 401 level aerial vocabulary or have instructor recommendation. Students who haven’t been to the studio in more than two sessions should contact the studio to ensure proper placement.

Description:

Our Youth Circus 501 class is for circus students who have met specific requirements AND have permission from the instructor. We will work with students on continuing progressions for trapeze, fabric, juggling, tumbling and acrobatics, human pyramids, balancing, strength and flexibility. This class will also focus on building sequences and acts for the end of session performance. Monday's 501 class will consist of ground skill work, while Wednesday's 501 class will consists of aerial skill work.

Students in Youth Circus 301 and up are eligible for extra performance opportunities including our Advanced Summer Break Program and Performance Troupe (2019-2020 Troupe has already been determined, check back around May/June 2020 for information about 2020-2021 Troupe).

For children looking to learn something new and exciting, circus is a non-competitive, artistic, fun and safe discipline! All classes at SHOW focus on vocabulary retention, interpersonal life skills, and having fun in a safe environment. Cancellation policy Any cancellations before the first day of class will be given a 100% refund minus the non-refundable registration deposit. Any registrations canceled after the first class are not eligible for a refund. Special exceptions may be made for medical situations. All classes canceled by the studio will be credited to your Pike 13 account based off of the single class rate. Adult students may substitute up to two missed classes during a session as free student practice times. Please contact the studio with any questions.
