Update: Due to the impacts social distancing has on spotting and the length of time we’ve all been out of the air, classes this session will look a little different. Classes will be focused on getting back on an apparatus and conditioning. If the class you want is full, don’t worry! Because our class sizes are so much smaller, we are aware fewer students will be able to enroll and are committed to adding as many additional class times as needed. You can either sign up for the waitlist, or email the office at info@showcircusstudio.com and we will be reaching out to groups about adding additional class times throughout the week.

Prerequisites: Are currently attending or have recently (past 2 sessions) attended a Level 201 aerial or acrobatics class; already have or are working towards having one or more pull-ups on a bar; are comfortable in a knee hang on a trapeze bar. Ability to climb a fabric or rope useful but not required. If you're not sure if you would be eligible for the class, don't hesitate to ask Margaret by emailing her at margaret@showcircusstudio.com

Are you ready to take your circus fitness to the next level? Do you have a trick you really want to get but you're not quite strong enough, or a routine you don't quite have the endurance to complete? This is your class. This strength and conditioning class is geared toward intermediate and higher level adult students who are ready to push themselves a bit harder to achieve their fitness goals. We will combine high-intensity interval training with apparatus-based conditioning as well as strength and mobility work with foam rollers, therabands, weights, and more.

At the beginning of the session we will discuss your particular fitness goals, and every week Margaret will assign you training homework to help you achieve those goals. You will be encouraged (but not required) to track your training in a journal. Assessments at the beginning and end of the session will let you see how much you've accomplished! Because working on fitness goals is always better with a support system, we will have a private Facebook group for class members to check in with and encourage each other in between classes. Let's up our circus game together!

All classes at SHOW focus on vocabulary retention, interpersonal life skills, and having fun in a safe environment. Circus is a great way to increase self-esteem, have fun, get in shape, improve focus and learn skills that will translate to every aspect of your life. Circus for fun, circus for life.

For our 12 week session, a third of the cost of the class is due upon enrollment with subsequent payments due on April 15th and May 15th. Students will be emailed a reminder during the prior week, and will be charged via Pike13. You will receive a receipt for each installment to the email address associated with your Pike13 account. If there is anything we can do to help with registration, or any questions we can answer feel free to contact our office at info@showcircusstudio.com.
Cancellation policy Any cancellations before the first day of class will be given a 100% refund minus the non-refundable registration deposit.
