SHOW Racial Justice Fund

SHOW is committed to practicing anti-racism in our community, and a group of our staff have spent the past five months meeting and planning for ways that we can actively incorporate racial justice work into our studio culture. We are ready now to call on you, our community, to help us move forward in our anti-racism efforts.

We are in the process of establishing the SHOW Racial Justice Fund, a community-supported endowment dedicated to furthering anti-racism at SHOW, and we will be consulting with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color leaders in the circus community on the best ways to use the resources gifted to the fund by our community members. Our initial proposals include prioritizing the training and onboarding of teachers of color, subsidizing performances and events in collaboration with local racial justice groups, and providing low-cost tuition and transportation to ensure that the circus arts are available to interested BIPOC students.

We invite you to commit to giving a one-time contribution or recurring monthly gift of any amount, to ensure that we will have the funds available to move forward with this important work. Together we can build an anti-racist culture at SHOW, and be an active participant in the meaningful work toward equity and diversity in our local community and the circus community at large.

To Sign Up: Sign up the same way you would with online classes! Click the next available date in the calendar below, and then follow the prompts for checkout. It will say you are signing up for a class, but don't worry! We just have to have a class in the system for Pike13 to accept both reoccuring and one-time payments. You will receive a receipt for the transaction. If you would like a different option, you can always contribute through the office both over the phone or by contacting info@showcircusstudio.com.
