Update: Due to the impacts social distancing has on spotting and the length of time we’ve all been out of the air, classes this session will look a little different. Classes will be focused on getting back on an apparatus and conditioning. If the class you want is full, don’t worry! Because our class sizes are so much smaller, we are aware fewer students will be able to enroll and are committed to adding as many additional class times as needed. Sign up for the waitlist and we will be reaching out to groups about adding additional class times throughout the week.

Requirements: Students must have completed at least 1 previous Trapeze 301 or Lyra 301 class at SHOW or have previous/more advanced experience on a bar apparatus. Must be able to do a solid knee hang and be able to pull over onto the bar without assistance. Please contact the studio with any questions before registering.

This Dance Trapeze class is for any student who completed at least 1 previous Lyra 301 or Trapeze 301 class at SHOW. Introduction to single-point dance trapeze is a class for intermediate and advanced students of static trapeze and lyra. The curriculum will include translating skills from traditional static trapeze, exploring low-to-high sequencing, spinning and coning, and understanding the many relationships between the floor, apparatus, human body, and the air. There will also be an opportunity for collaboration and creative exploration.

For people looking to learn something new and exciting, circus is a non-competitive, artistic, fun and safe discipline. Students will be emailed a reminder during the prior week, and will be charged via Pike13. You will receive a receipt for each installment to the email address associated with your Pike13 account.
