In this Performance Creation class, intermediate and advanced circus students will collaboratively build a cohesive show from the ground up! Over the course of 7 weeks, students will devise group acts, build transitions, and have the option of working on solo/duo/trio acts with the guidance of an experienced coach. Students will have the opportunity to expand their breadth of circus knowledge as group acts will include a variety of circus disciplines including aerial and ground skills.
This class cost includes the price of Open Studio once a week where students will be able to independently practice and develop their acts. Consistent attendance is key as we're creating collaboratively! Students are required to be a part of the final performance on August 23rd. Optionally, there is also the potential to perform at the Amherst Block Party in September (date TBC).
