Summer session: 8 weeks July 7th - August 31st (with no breaks)

Days Available: Tuesday 5:45-7:15pm
Prerequisites: ability to pullover without tagging, hold a single hip hang, and feel comfortable on top of the hoop.
Description:
Ready to spin, balance, and fly with a buddy? This 201-301 Duo Lyra class series is perfect for those who have a solid foundation in solo hoop and are ready to explore the magic of partnering in the air. We'll cover shared mounts, basic counterbalances, shapes, and simple transitions that build trust, timing, and communication. By the end of the series, you’ll have a handful of duet sequences to play with—and probably some new bruises and inside jokes, too. Bring a friend or come solo—we’ll pair up in class!
For people looking to learn something new and exciting, circus is a non-competitive, artistic, fun and safe discipline. All classes at SHOW focus on vocabulary retention, interpersonal life skills, and having fun in a safe environment. Circus is a great way to increase self-esteem, have fun, get in shape, improve focus and learn skills that will translate into every aspect of your life. Circus for Fun, Circus for Life.
Any cancellation made by the student before the first day of class will be given a 100% refund. Any cancellations made by the student after the first class of the session has run is not eligible for a refund (special exceptions may be made for medical situations). If a single class is canceled by the studio (due to weather, staff availability, etc.), the cost of that class will be credited to your P13 account based on the single per class rate. Adult students who miss 1-2 classes during the session may attend 1-2 Open Studios free of charge, per session, to make up for the missed classes, as space allows. Students making up missed classes using Open Studio must register through the office.
Please note—if you miss a class due to COVID-related reasons, the cost of that class will be credited to your P13 account based on the single per class rate. As a result absences due to COVID will not be eligible for free Open Studio make-ups, but you may use your account credit to pay for Open Studios.
In the event that only one student is present for any given class, the class will automatically be changed to 1 hour in duration.
