Handstands and Inversions 101
Teen/Adult Class: Ages 16+
Level: 101 (Introductory, New & Returning Students Welcome)
Spring Session: 10 Weeks: April 1st - June 16th (with no classes April 15th - April 21st)

Description:
Get happier upside down! This class is great for students who are new to handstands or are working on handstands at the beginning level. Each class will work on whole body conditioning from the wrists and shoulders to core and legs in preparation for more intensive handstand work. Learn the proper techniques for handstands and learn to get comfortable being upside down. Focus will also be given to creative balances and basic choreography with handstands. Each activity will have variations for new or continuing students. Good for any level of fitness and ability.
For people looking to learn something new and exciting, circus is a non-competitive, artistic, fun and safe discipline. All classes at SHOW focus on vocabulary retention, interpersonal life skills, and having fun in a safe environment. Circus is a great way to increase self-esteem, have fun, get in shape, improve focus and learn skills that will translate to every aspect of your life. Circus for Fun, Circus for Life.
Any cancellation made by the student before the first day of class will be given a 100% refund. Any cancellations made by the student after the first class of the session has run is not eligible for a refund (special exceptions may be made for medical situations). If a single class is canceled by the studio (due to weather, staff availability, etc.), the cost of that class will be credited to your P13 account based on the single per class rate. Adult students who miss 1-2 classes during the session may attend 1-2 Open Studios free of charge, per session, to make up for the missed classes, as space allows. Students making up missed classes using Open Studios must register through the office.
Please note—if you miss a class due to COVID-related reasons, the cost of that class will be credited to your P13 account based on the single per class rate. As a result absences due to COVID will not be eligible for free Open Studio make-ups, but you may use your account credit to pay for Open Studios.
In the event that only one student is present for any given class, the class will automatically be changed to 1 hour in duration.
